Surface Preparation: Steel pipe surfaces are blasted to Sa2.5 grade to remove rust, oil, and mill scale.
Heating: Pipes are heated via medium-frequency induction to 220-240°C.
Coating Application:
FBE powder is electrostatically sprayed and fused onto the hot surface.
Copolymer adhesive is extruded over the FBE layer.
HDPE is extruded over the adhesive layer.
Cooling & Inspection: Pipes are water-cooled and subjected to rigorous testing, including holiday detection (spark test), thickness measurement, bend tests, and cathodic disbondment tests.
