3D 5D 7D 45° 90° Degree Seamless Steel Induction Bend Pipe
Products Description
Induction bend (hot induction bend) is a high-performance pipe fitting manufactured via electromagnetic induction heating + precision hot bending process. By locally heating the pipe to 850-1100°C (grade-specific) and bending it under controlled hydraulic force, it creates smooth, full-body bends without weld seams at the bending zone. Designed for high-pressure, high-temperature, and large-diameter pipeline systems, it delivers exceptional structural integrity, minimal flow resistance, and long-term reliability.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between induction bend and traditional elbow?
A1: Induction bend is aseamless hot-bent pipewith a smooth curved surface, no welds, and minimal flow resistance. Traditional elbows are welded or cast, with higher turbulence and pressure drop. Induction bends also offer larger bend radii (3D+) and better structural integrity for high-pressure applications.
Q2: What bend radii are available for induction bends?
A2: Standard radii are3D, 5D, and 7D(D=nominal pipe diameter). Custom radii from 2.5D to 10D are available upon request. Larger radii (5D/7D) are preferred for low-turbulence flow, while 3D balances space and performance.
Q3: Can induction bends be customized for special projects?
A3: Yes. We offerfull customizationincluding non-standard angles, special radii, tangent lengths, material grades, and anti-corrosion coatings (3PE/2PE). Our engineering team can also provide technical support for design and material selection.
Q4: What is the delivery time for induction bends?
A4: Standard orders (NPS 2"-NPS 24", 3D/5D, carbon steel) take 2-4 weeks. Custom or large-diameter orders (NPS 30"+) take 4-8 weeks. Expedited production is available for urgent projects.
Q5: How to ensure the quality of induction bends?
A5: All bends undergo100% NDT (UT/RT)and mechanical testing per international standards. We provide full material certificates (MTR), test reports, and traceability documents. Our factory is ISO 9001 certified, with strict quality control at every production stage.
Q6: What anti-corrosion coatings are available?
A6: We offer3PE (Three-Layer Polyethylene), 2PE, epoxy coating, polyurethane coating, and galvanization. 3PE is the most popular for underground pipelines, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.
