304 vs 316 - Selecting the Right Grade for Your Project:
#304is the standard choice for general corrosive environments - construction, food processing, fresh water systems, and general industrial piping. It offers excellent value at a lower cost.
#316contains 2-3% molybdenum, providing superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride attack. Recommended for marine environments, seawater systems, chemical processing, coastal infrastructure, and any application exposed to salt or acidic media.

Waterproof Wrapping: For extended sea freight durations, bundles can be heat-shrink wrapped or covered with heavy-duty PE/tarpaulin to prevent moisture ingress and salt-spray corrosion during ocean transit.
Wooden Crates:For polished/sanitary surface requirements, individual pipes are foam-padded and packed in wooden crates to prevent surface scratching. Crates are ISPM-15 certified for seamless customs clearance.
Marking:Each bundle is tagged with grade, heat number, size, quantity, and destination. Pipe ends are color-coded (Blue for 304 / Red for 316) for easy field identification.
Shipping Marks:Each bundle/crate is stenciled with complete shipping information: product specifications, PO number, heat number, bundle number (e.g., "Bundle 1 of 48"), net/gross weight, and delivery address. A laminated waterproof packing list is attached to each bundle, and a master packing list is placed in the first container for customs reference.
